ALPFA Cares - Help Us Help Haiti

In response to the earthquake in Haiti, collection drives have begun throughout Miami-Dade County for much-needed goods and supplies. Beginning January 19, 2010, the United Way of Miami-Dade needs volunteers to help sort, wrap, and load these donated items for shipping.

Morning and afternoon shifts are available, with a minimum of 5 volunteers being needed for each shift. The shifts are from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM (morning shift) and from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM (afternoon shift), with the address being:
