Congratulations to Christopher Houseman on being selected ALPFA's National Student of the Year!

Christopher Houseman was presented with the award, having shown an excellent balance between academics and community involvement and for being actively involved in the ALPFA at FIU student chapter. He has demonstrated the leadership qualities that are essential to a promising future career. In addition, he actively seeks to assist both the ALPFA at FIU student chapter and the ALPFA Miami chapter to meet various goals. Lastly, he is a recognized role model to the student membership. We congratulate Christopher Houseman on a job well done and look forward to continue working with him with ALPFA Miami.

ALPFA held its 2010 National Convention in Lake Buena Vista, Florida in August 2010. ALPFA continues to create the most exciting and valuable experience for both professionals and students. Held over four days, the National Convention featured events such as professional and student workshops, Women of ALPFA meetings, panel discussions, the Awards Gala, the Salsa Competition, case studies, networking opportunities and the Career Fair.
